Call to Action: Tell EPA to Honor President Trump's Commitment to Farmers and the RFS

Growing demand for U.S. corn by increasing sales of higher ethanol blends is a priority for corn farmers across the country. The Trump Administration’s actions to allow for year-round sales of 15 percent ethanol blends, or E15 was welcome news but the EPA’s ongoing practice of providing RFS waivers for big oil threatened to undo this good work. When the EPA chose to grant an additional 31 refinery waivers to big oil, corn farmers across the country weren’t shy in telling the President that these waivers would lead to significant consequences. Following these calls for action, President Trump directed the EPA to follow the law and uphold the RFS, but his EPA turned its back on this deal, proposing a plan that fails to account for the actual harm caused by waivers. Tell the EPA to follow through on the President’s commitment to farmers and the RFS!
