Ekiti Governorship Election: Security Beefed Up Ahead Of Polls

Ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election that will hold on Saturday, there have been massive deployment of security personnel to ensure security of lives and property during and after the election. Eight thousand policemen and 15,000 personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, are on the ground to ensure a peaceful conduct of the exercise. The police has said that there will be restriction of movement during the election. The Police is confident that with the number of officials on ground, the election will be peaceful.
