GCN's Top 10 New Cycling Tech Releases Of 2015

2015 has seen some great new tech launches. Here's our pick of the crop. Click here to subscribe to GCN: http://gcn.eu/SubscribeToGCN In our minds, the biggest release of the year was SRAM's Red eTap. Improved shifting logic, and it's wireless. Awesome. It was a bumper year for aero bikes with Specialized, SCOTT and Trek all launching radically aero frames. FSA are new to the groupset game, and, we're waiting to get our hands on the prototype system that they previewed at the Tour. SRAM 1x. It's been on mountain bikes, cyclo-cross bikes, and more for ages. But, now it's on road bikes too. Maybe not for everyone, but, seriously good looking. Who doesn't want a light bike? How about a light disc bike? Focus' Izalco Max disc is futureproof and super-light. Cool. We're not sure that we've seen a bike as versatile as the Open Cycle... Rotor have a hydraulic groupset in the works. Should be interesting... Is the Canyon Ultimate CF SLX the n-1 bike? It could well be. Aero, light, it has it all. Yes, we know that disc brakes have been around as long as most of us have been cycling. But, as they're race legal from 2016, we think that brake and frame brands will bring out some exciting projects over the next year or so. Watch more on GCN...
