This Jobim standard is excellent for practicing various bossa nova rhythms and Maj to Min solo ideas. I made an arrangement with 5 choruses (a relatively short song) using the bridge as an intro and a Maj to Min repeat ending. Eliane Elias has recorded and played Fotografia in concert too many times to guess. Her solo in this video is my favorite and an example of masterful improv. The solo starts from bossa ballad, builds into a beautiful combination of jazzy blues and funk styles and then she brings it down to the starting tempo and lyrics.
