THE FIRST 12 MINUTES OF THE CLANCY WORLD TOUR (twenty one pilots Unofficial Concert Film Pt.1)
A cinematic experience of @twentyonepilots opening the Clancy World Tour with Overcompensate, Holding On To You, and Vignette live from multiple evenings. Apparently, @reelbearmedia said they weren't filming this complete show for a concert film, so I tried to imagine the beginning of one myself. For the edit, I simply did my best to think "What Would Mark Do?" ;) This project started because I kept rewatching my footage from the incredible LA Clancy shows, and thinking about how I wished I could go back and live it again. I realized I could edit my two different nights' perspectives together for a personal little concert film, which was the closest I could get to seeing another show. I admittedly had a few gaps since I didn't want to have my phone up the whole concert, which kinda limited the experiment's potential. To solve this, I borrowed some footage from other angles on YouTube to plug the holes. Suddenly, I had a super immersive concert experience of two dudes from Ohio absolutely tearing up a stage and electrifying an arena full of people with their music. Barring a few technical difficulties with color and export quality, I think it turned out pretty fun. I really love the privilege of watching #tylerjoseph and #joshdun do their thing live, and I hope this video finds other people who do as well, whether you were able to make it to the tour or not.
