Fire destroys Southview Apartment Buildings

Fire and rescue crews responded to a five alarm apartment complex blaze. It happened Thursday around noon on Lois Lane at Southview apartments in Harrisonburg. The apartment complexes in the area are mostly used by James Madison University students. Breaking Through News reporter Elaine Rackley spoke with Harrisonburg Fire Chief Ian Bennett and Harrisonburg Police Lt. Pete Richie about the large presence of law enforcement officers and rescue crews.
