For the main antagonist of the Hobbit films, the orc general was given a simple, blaring motif that's the same melody as the Dol Guldur Thirds, except it ends in a simple four note end phrase. As the films progress, the Dol Guldur Thirds and Azog's theme become one of the same, reflecting the might and power of the brutal orc lord.
