Red Dead Redemption 2 – Herbalist Challenges 1 & 2 Guide (Yarrow + All Berry Species)

A quick, clean, no-commentary guide showing how to complete Herbalist Challenges 1 and 2 in Red Dead Redemption 2. These ranks require you to pick 6 Yarrow plants and eat all 4 berry species found in the world. HERBALIST CHALLENGE 1: Yarrow is one of the most common herbs in the game. It grows in clusters across the Heartlands and around Rhodes, and its bright red flowers make it easy to spot. Pick any 6 plants to complete this rank. HERBALIST CHALLENGE 2: For this challenge, you must eat one of each berry species: Raspberry, Blackberry, Evergreen Huckleberry, and Wintergreen Berry. The first three are easy to find and usually grow in pairs. Wintergreen Berries grow close to the ground and are easy to miss, so you may need to search carefully for two separate plants—one to pick and one to eat. MPORTANT TIP: The challenge requires you to eat the berries, not just pick them. The first time you find a new plant you’ll only have the “Pick/Examine” option, so you must find a second plant of that species to consume. All berries except Wintergreen usually spawn in pairs.
