Gray Whale washes up in Ocean Shores on March 8 2021
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife response members begin to examine a 42-foot gray whale that washed up on the Ocean Shores Beach near the Ocean Lake Way beach approach on Monday. The whale first was spotted in the surf on Sunday but then ended up about two miles to the south. A more complete examine will be needed to determine what may have caused the death. The whale is thought to be young but nearing its adult stage.
