Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Secret Boss: Julius mode:Standard character: sora (lv 43) keyblade: knockout punch dream eaters:sudo neku,R&R seal and pricklemane(your dream eaters can't be used in the battle against julius. its sora/riku by themselves without any help from their spirits or the ability to link at all) recommended command deck for sora(for soras at lvs 40-70): slot 1.firaga burst(uses 2 slots)(subsitute for salvation if you want a harder challenge) 3.shadowbreaker 4. balloonga 5.curaga 6.sonic blade 8.curaga (if you use salvation instead of firaga burst you'll make things harder on yourself and sora will probably never win,tho i almost won with the salvation sub instead of firaga burst,not kidding its completely true,i lost to Julius cheating combo,when he was powered up-_-)warning,do not fight Julius with a lv 43 sora(like i did) since he's really hard to beat and sora can take a few blows before losing but lv 43 is almost really underlved so don't try to beat Julus with a lv 43 sora unless you want to do it for a challenge,or make it more challenging by using salvation instead of firaga burst. Julius is the hardest boss in the game for a secret boss. he's really fast for a person who's really big and he has some powerful combos,some of which are inescapable. when julius slams his fists together he'll do a multiple punching attack that moves him towards sora/riku while attacking so block and counter rush him as well as use firaga burst and balloonga(two really useful commands to use against Julius) when you're able to. the combos Julius can do to sora is using his uppercut twice then maybe do two down punches,use 2 uppercuts and do his flying body slam attack,2 uppercuts and use his strongest attack which is leaping off a building or use 2 uppercuts and 1-2 down punches/ground slam combined with his status affecting breath. trust me ive seen those uppercut combos and they're usually unavoidable if you get hit by the uppercut but if its the body slam it can be avoided,the other combos are almost like completely unavoidable since sora can't get out of stun fast enough to avoid the hit(other than using payback raid) when Julius uses thunder to get stronger attack power always use block and if you're close enough you can do counter rush,but that's dangerous and his roar after he gets powered up actually damages you. the jumping off the building attack will cause one of your commands to reload very slowly and it takes about maybe five mins for it to be available again. you can dodge the building attack but it requires a lot of dodge rolling,maybe even flowmotion speed bursts or air slides but its usually unavoidable. and be sure to use curaga as needed but sometimes Julius will win by cheating by using his upper cut combo or any other combo he could use to finish you off. you can make it harder to beat Julius with sora by using salvation instead of firaga burst but that makes things a lot harder and one time when i was recording this with salvation i was so close to winning but Julius cheated by using a combo to finish me off. enjoy. please post a comment.
