A Mentorship Session with Tanya Loveday, Serena Steede, Cicely Thomas, Latrice Williams, Jillian Monet Special Guest: Evangelist Laverne Jones During the Threshing Floor: Agitation and Separation The threshing process itself is intense. Grain stalks are beaten or crushed, either manually or by animals dragging heavy boards embedded with stones. This violent agitation loosens the husks from the kernels. Spiritually, this is the season of divine disruption. God allows pressure, conflict, and discomfort to expose what is chaff, false identities, limiting beliefs, and unhealed wounds. It’s the sacred violence of transformation, where the Spirit discerns between what is eternal and what must be discarded. Psychologically, this is the terrain of cognitive reframing and emotional excavation. Old narratives are challenged, and the soul wrestles with truth. Neurologically, the limbic system is activated, emotions surge, memories surface, and the brain begins the process of pruning and renewal. This is where neuroplasticity is catalyzed: the threshing floor becomes the crucible of rewiring.
