MONROE, Ohio (WKRC) - Kroger says it will build its first robotic warehouse for home delivery in Monroe. The $55-million facility will bring about 410 jobs. Kroger recently formed a partnership with the British online grocery retailer Ocado to build fulfillment centers around the United States within three years. Ocado has no brick-and-mortar stores. It delivers all groceries via van from a network of automated warehouses. The robotic warehouse in Monroe is scheduled to open sometime in 2021.
