It controls and coordinates all the activities of the body, including movement, thinking, feeling, and even breathing. The human nervous system is divided into two main parts: 1. Central Nervous System (CNS) The CNS includes the brain and the spinal cord. The brain is the control center of the body. It helps us think, learn, remember, and feel. The spinal cord connects the brain to the rest of the body and helps carry messages back and forth. 2. Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) The PNS includes nerves that spread throughout the body. These nerves carry messages between the brain, spinal cord, and other body parts. There are two types of nerves: Sensory nerves: They carry messages from sense organs (eyes, ears, skin, etc.) to the brain. Motor nerves: They carry instructions from the brain to the muscles and organs. The nervous system works very fast, like an automatic messaging system.
