Police and Public Safety Rapid Deployment Training 2017

Twice a year every UNC Charlotte police officer is required to participant in rapid deployment training. The training typically takes place in an empty residential building on campus. Training includes practicing tactical response techniques within a small response team. Each team is given a scenario and works on clearing rooms, response formations, and confronting an armed suspect. During each training an emphasis is placed on participant safety.
