I saw this recipe on the FB platform this morning and simply had to try it. Of course because I wrote a bread book (The Bread Book You Knead), I decided to make my baguette from scratch. Ingredients for the bread below. After baking the bread, I added 5 uncooked eggs, then I used a chopstick to scramble the eggs. I then layered some grated cheddar cheese, pepperoni, cold cuts, spinach and Pepper Jack cheese, then bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Note: The original recipe advised to bake for 15 minutes, but that would only work if the eggs were cooked first. If you don't have an hour to wait for breakfast, the cook the eggs separately first.
