Peterson states that there will soon be a chain of Forever Umbrella stores. On February 27, 2015, Tory released the music video the song, "Henny In Hand". In an interview with The Fader, Tory said "One of my best visuals conceptually, there are very little shots of me, but a huge plot twist." It was also revealed that he was going to release an EP, April 6, 2015 on WeDidIt Records. On April 3, 2015, Tory released the single titled "In For It" for his upcoming EP. The song was produced by electronic musician, RL Grime. After that, the EP was delayed. On May 8, Peterson released another song, titled "Ric Flair" featuring Rory Trustory. On May 22, 2015, he released the second single to the EP, titled "Acting Like", produced by Shlohmo. The music video was released the same day. On June 19, 2015, Tory announced that the EP would be called, Cruel Intentions and released on June 26, 2015. That same day the single, "Karrueche" was released. On January 28, 2016, Tory lanez made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! by performing "Say It". He also surprised the audience by bringing the reunited members of Brownstone to the stage to provide his backup vocals on "Say It". A month later, Lanez released a remix of Mandeintyo's viral sensation, "Uber Everywhere". On March 4, 2016, Lanez released the song, "Tim Duncan" as apart of his Fargo Fridays series. He released the song, "Real Addresses" the next week. In July, Tory Lanez performed at the Osheaga Festival at Montreal with Future, Logic, Mac Miller and more. In the lyrics of "Summer Sixteen", Drake says, "All you boys in the new Toronto want to be me a little." Many took this, and the ensuing lines, to be something off a shot taken at Tory Lanez. Lanez created tension with Drake when he expressed his dislike of "the 6" as a nickname for Toronto one that has, of course, been popularized by the "6 God". Drake also took shots at Meek Mill and Barack Obama. Meek Mill later called out Drake for dissing Tory Lanez on the song, "War Pain": "Tory from the 6, you hatin’ on him, Lord knows!" In an interview with Revolt, Tory was asked about the perceived shot. He was skeptical about whether it was aimed at him at all, he assured the press that he wouldn't be responding even if it was. "Drake could diss me 20,000 times, and I’d never diss him. I’m a fan... I have no negativity on my side. All blessings to that man."
