Holiday Jello Salad Vintage 1950's English Peas ,Carrots, Celery..... they served this to elementary school kids at least once a week in the 1950's and 1960's. It is absolutely delicious. My favorite Jello Salad Ever. Holiday Salad 1 pkg lemon Jello 1/2 c hot water 1/4 c juice from canned LeSeur English Peas 1 T apple cider or white vinegar. bring to low boil. stir until Jello dissolved. put in Refrigerator about 5 minutes. ADD: 1 small onion chpd fine 1 t mustard . I forgot it darn it. 🤣 1 C mayo 1 Can LeSeur English Peas drained ( after you reserved the 1/4 c) 1 c canned or freshly cooked carrots cut up 1 C celery finely chopped 1 small jar diced pimento drained and pressed onto paper towels. add to cooled Jello. pour into slightly damp molds or a pretty dish or 9x13 glass casserole.
