The plot is about three innocent orphaned siblings who protect and love each other. Regrettably, their parents lost their lives in a house fire due to an unfortunate mishap.The family banker informs them that their parents have appointed someone as their first guardian and that he is responsible for them. So, the banker takes them to their first guardian 'Count Olaf'. He is a bad guy that tries to take their life. He was a greedy man who did not want to take care of the Baudelaire siblings as he only wanted the money and property from their parents. He tries to separate them as he desires their vast fortune and possessions. One day, Count Olaf locks them in a car and drops them on the railway track. The family's eldest daughter, Violet, is an inventor who built the finest innovations she could with the resources she had. 'Klaus' was her brother who loved to read and remembers the page numbers of the books he read. While 'Sunny' was the name of her youngest daughter. When the banker learns of Olaf's evil scheming plans, he transfers the siblings to their other guardian who is a doctor and snake lover. Knowing this, Count Olaf arrives and kills the other guardian, but 'Sunny' shows that the snake did not kill him because he is a loving and friendly animal. He is later brought to the Third Guardian, a woman who was afraid of everything. Count Olaf also killed that woman at sea. Later the brothers and sisters reached the old house, which was destroyed by the storm. When the scheming man Count Olaf doesn't succeed in all the bad ways, he wants to get the 'Violet' property by marrying her, so he stages a fake play in which he takes a liking to her. But then something happens and the whole truth comes out in front of everyone. In the end, he gives up, and the banker sends him back to his home. He receives an old letter from his dead parents at the end of the film, and the scene is as sentimental as any other.
