Traveling from Kaza to Manali by road is a unique experience in comparison to approaching the mountainous region from the Shimla side. Taking the HRTC Bus from Kaza to Manali, we got to see the valley from both ends of the journey. Kaza to Manali via the Atal Tunnel was the path we followed. Every visitor is greeted by a complimentary tea. The monks might give a guided tour also. Photography is not allowed inside the prayer rooms but is allowed in the outdoor areas.  Komik village: The world's highest motorable village, Komic, situated at an altitude of 15,500 feet in Spiti Valley in the Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh   Kibber village: Kibber aka Kyibar village rests high in the Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 14200 ft. It is famous for several things –a monastery, Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, the highest post office in the world, and is a destination with the highest motorable road.  Chicham Bridge : The highest bridge in Asia, and quite an astounding spectacle at that.The the bridge is at a staggering height of 13596 ft and connects the two villages named Chicham and Kibber. Look down this one and you will find yourself gaping below, at a 1000 ft. This bridge cuts down the journey from Kibber to Losar by 40 km. Most of the time it was the off-roading drive from Kaza to Manali.
