Ala. Lawmaker Wants Football Back at UAB

There's a state lawmaker looking to bring football back to UAB. Representative Jack Williams introduced the bill last week. It would require the University of Alabama system to have a football program at UAB as long as there's a team on the main campus. More than 35 House members are now co-sponsoring the bill. The university's president announced in December that the school would be doing away with the football program because of costs.
