2025 Nissan Kicks: Affordable Aesthetics

Cars don’t seem to be getting any cheaper these days, and that’s precisely what makes the redesigned 2025 Nissan Kicks so exciting. Bigger and funkier than ever before, the new-gen Kicks replaces the prior generation in addition to Nissan’s erstwhile, slightly larger Rogue Sport, now offering more cargo room, refinement, tech and available all-wheel drive. It’s a sharp-looking crossover made even more intriguing by Nissan’s liberal use of bright colors, alluringly odd angles and distinct design flourishes that move its smallest and most affordable SUV away from any semblance of a penalty box. West Coast Bureau Chief Conner Golden got a crack at the latest Kicks in sunny Southern California, finding it to be a wonderfully funky and well-equipped — if slightly underpowered — urban commuter.
