Police confirm three deaths after train derails near Stonehaven
A statement from British Transport Police confirmed three people have died after a train derailed near Stonehaven. One of the victims was the driver of the ScotRail service, the operator confirmed. Six other people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after the train came off the tracks in an area hit by heavy flooding.
