He is the founding pastor of River of Life Church in Cloquet, MN and still serves as its Pastor Emeritus. Following a trinitarian upbringing and some years in the Oneness Pentecostal movement he eventually embraced Biblical Unitarian beliefs. Bob is a published author and speaker at regional and national symposiums and conferences on both rehabilitation and academics. He has served as adjunct faculty at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and at St. Catherine’s University in Minneapolis, MN. Doctor Shutes and his wife Patricia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
