Penguin's environmental enrichment

Take a swim penguin! 🐧 For Loro Parque, an authentic animal embassy, it is essential that the animals fully develop their natural behaviours, which is why we have a great variety of enrichments designed for each species. In this sense, the penguins nutrition is placed along the installation to awaken their interest and, also, it is thrown into the water at different times during the day, so the penguins can go fishing as their fellow counterparts do. When you visit Planet Penguin, try to lcoate a group of Gentoo penguins that are used to playing with their food: they throw a herring into the water and swim around like a match of football, finally some get tired and eat it... and they start again!
