The designation of blame was one thing that was emphasized, but the main thing that was the most troubling was that it seemed as if the 49ers lacked the emotional content to fit the occasion. Joe Montana was on hand for the occasion, Jerry Rice, and Terrell Owens, were on the premises, and other legends of the red and gold to witness one of the most pathetic efforts by the modern day 49ers ever. We are at the halfway point of the 2018 season, and 49ers fans are already hoping to see the loses continue. Citizens of the Empire are saying be competitive but do not dare win, and knock the 49ers out of the top 2019 draft pick. The question also is this, how in the hell did we go from one of the teams projected to be in the playoff mix to one of the biggest jokes in the NFL? Lots of agreement on losing the rest of the way, but just please beat the #Raiders. Losing to the Raiders would add an exclamation point to one of the most embarrassing turn of events within the #49ers community in awhile. 2015 and 2016 were an embarrassment but there were no expectations during those years.
