Review: Jeroen van Veen Aces the Complete Gurdjieff/de Hartmann

OK, 170 adorable little piano pieces on 6 well-filled discs may not exactly transport you into a realm of transcendental spirituality, as self-styled mystic and all-around phony George Gurdjieff intended, but Thomas de Hartmann was a fine composer and he arranged the tunes that guru Gurdjieff dictated to him very sensitively, and they are marvelously played by Jeroen van Veen as well as sonorously recorded in this very attractive Brilliant Classics set. p.s. For some reason I think I call Gurdjieff "Arthur" instead of George in the video, I have no idea why.
