Second Video Watching Attempts to Extract Dropped Valve

In an effort to get more freedom of movement inside the cylinder, I added to the list of tools down the sparkplug hole...a piece of metal coat hanger wire bent into a hook shape. When I pull the camera out of the exhaust valve guide around 20 sec into the video, you will see that the hemostat is still down the sparkplug hole. Then, a few seconds later, with the camera down the intake valve guide, you will see that the reflection of the camera lights is not centered on the end of the valve stem. This indicates that the valve stem is not pointed straight up the guide. This is preventing it from sliding in. The solution was to lift the valve up with the hemostat and get the hook under it. Once the valve is sitting on the hook, the hemostat needs to be very carefully removed from the cylinder. THEN, and only then, could I get enough movement to the side that the valve could slide up the guide. I did not get the final extraction on video, but the valve just leapt up the guide! It happened so quickly that that I lost control of it with the hook and it dropped back down the cylinder several times before there was success. It IS possible to get a pair of accidentally dropped valves back up the guides without removing the cylinder head of a 1ZZ FE Toyota engine!
