J.S.Bach - Sinfonia No.5 in E flat Major, BWV 791, from Three-Part Invention

Today, we are uploading Sinfonia No. 5 as the fifth night of "everyday uploading 15 Sinfonias"! ⭐️No.5 This piece is ostinato(* repeats a certain musical pattern many times in a row. Ostinato (I) means "relentless, relentless"). On top of that, soprano and alto play duet together. So the goal of this piece is to be able to play the left hand calmly and the right hand sing and freely. When I play this piece, the image that comes to my mind is that two vocalists are singing freely with the accompaniment of a double bass and cello playing pizzicato. It is such an image. Ideally, such a performance could be done on the piano. ⭐15 ️Sinfonias Sinfonias are three-part contrapuntal pieces. They were originally written as musical exercises for his students. It is a part of the Two- and Three-Part Inventions which is known as the Inventions and Sinfonias, BWV 772–801. However, I'm amazed at how great the expression can be just by going from two to three parts. The meaning of the title "Sinfonia" is only "instrumental music in multiple voices" and does not refer to any particular musical form. The intertwining of the parts is more complicated than the Two-Part Inventions, so it is most important to take out one part at a time to understand the flow clearly before you play.
