Pedestrian hit, killed while walking on SR-99 near south Sacramento, CHP says

A pedestrian was hit and killed on Friday night while walking on State Route 99 on the Calvine Road off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP officers believe the pedestrian was hit by two cars, initially by a Ford Edge and then by a Honda Civic. Officers found the pedestrian dead on top of a Honda Civic when they arrived. A Ford Edge was also parked on the right shoulder under the Calvine Road over-crossing.
