Online Yoga with Sarahjoy, April 14, Tuesday 9am PST

The mind: This more detailed class slows down the mind, develops patience, concentration, and curiosity. The body: Sarahjoy explores new approaches to Trikonasana, triangle pose, to help refresh the students’ understanding and capacity. The props: A rolled blanket, block, and strap. The pranayama: Ujjayii inhale with tiny straw exhale. The imagery: Can the mind approach the inner world as when observing fish in an aquarium? Larger than this, how can we conceive of ourselves as fish already immersed in the ocean? (As already immersed in love, belonging, and grace.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To support the continuation of access to these yoga classes for all, please donate at our website or FB page. We understand that during this global health pandemic, more people need access to the life-nourishing practices of yoga. We also understand that not all can donate readily. We do appreciate any and all donations from those who can. Your donations also support the continuation of our Prison Yoga Outreach Programs serving Oregon’s prisons since 1998. https://www.dayafoundation.org/   / thedayafoundation   For information on yoga teacher trainings with Sarahjoy, including 200-hr + 300-hr, Yoga Alliance and 800-hr International Association of Yoga Therapists trainings, and our Trauma-Informed, Brain-Sensitive (TIBS) Yoga Training, please visit: https://www.sarahjoyyoga.com/
