BNSF 7114 East in Emporia, KS 7/9/22

So you might be asking yourself, what the hell is Tommy doing in Kansas? Well, this past July, I made the 8 hour trek out to Emporia, KS, to meet long time internet friend Jack Carson for the very first time. Since he's from Texas, it was always difficult for us to meet up anywhere, but since he usually does a yearly trip to Emporia, we figured this was our best chance for the kings of K5HLB videos to finally meet in person. Funny enough, I drove 8 hours out here, and I literally would've gotten a K5HLB this day if I had just stayed home in Wyanet. Regardless, this was an absolutely fantastic trip out here, and I hope to do it again someday. If I do come out here again, I would love to try and follow the Transcon all the way back to Illinois photographing every crossing along the way. Maybe next year. Anyways, first train of the trip was this intermodal, arriving just minutes after I finished my 8 hour drive to Emporia.
