In this second episode, we travel to the Prothean archives on Mars, after learning that Dr. Liara T'Soni has made a breakthrough finding that might help in our fight against the Reapers. Unfortunately, we also quickly learn that we are not the only visitors: We encounter several groups of Cerberus Troopers in the archives, led by the mysterious Dr. Eva Coré. With the help of Liara, we fight our way through to the data core, unlocking the "A Personal Touch" achievement along the way, but unfortunately, we are too late: Dr. Eva Coré is about to escape with the data on a powerful Prothean device that could turn the tide in the fight against the Reapers. A chase ensues during with Kaidan Alenko is critically wounded, but thanks to James' heroics, we take out Eva Coré, obtain the data and unlock the "Bringer of War" achievement. Kaidan is brought to the Citadel for medical care while we are summoned by the Citadel Council...
