The Boondocks | The Only Way to End a Nigga Moment | Season 3 Episode 5

Desperate to avoid the fate of Bushido Brown, Robert Freeman tries to de-escalate the situation with The Hateocracy by apologizing for killing Stinkmeaner. He confesses that he was embarrassed by being beaten by a blind old man and wishes he could take back his actions. The Hateocracy, however, reveals they "don't give a shit about no Stinkmeaner." They admit they were simply looking for an excuse to "ruin shit" and that Stinkmeaner's death gave them a convenient target. Just as they prepare to kill the Freemans, police cars suddenly arrive. The police conveniently arrest the Hateocracy for the murder of Bushido Brown. A relieved Robert celebrates, while Riley, ever the street-wise child, pretends to be angry about the "snitching." Huey explains to the police that the incident was a "nigga moment," to which the officer replies that there's only one way to end a nigga moment for good: jail. In a final bit of narration, Stinkmeaner's ghost agrees, stating that some Black people just need to be in jail, happily noting that he may be in hell, but "at least I ain't in jail, nigga."
