Soooo, this happened! Turned out we were staying at Hoshi Onsen outside Minakami in Gunma prefecture with the best possible timing, as they celebrated their 150th anniversary with an unforgettable taiko and shamisen performance INSIDE the onsen (hot spring) – a first for all attendees and musicians. 🇯🇵♨️ Make sure you add Hoshi Onsen to your list of destinations in Japan because it will sweep you off your feet!
