The arrest and conviction of Danny Masterson, his close friend, has opened an unprecedented Pandora's box. Danny Masterson, the That's 70s Show actor convicted of s7upr0, with the same modus operandi as Bill Cosby, has uncovered what seems like a never-ending controversy. From the two letters written to the judge by Ashton and his wife, Mila Kunis, in defense of their friend Danny, to strange coincidences involving the actor on the night of actress Ashley Ellerin's 0m1c1d10. Danny Masterson, an actor best known for his role on the series "That's 70s Show," was accused by prosecutors of raping three different women between 2001 and 2003. The women only spoke out in 2016 because they were threatened by the Church of Scientology, of which Danny Masterson is a member. The Los Angeles Police Department began investigating the allegations against him in 2016, and the investigation concluded in 2020 with three counts of sexual assault against these three women. Furthermore, the trial revealed the aggravating circumstance that the defendant, Danny, drugged his victims to gain control and deprive them of their ability to consent. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison for his crimes. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, married since 2015, sent letters of support to Danny Masterson in his trial. Both Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis starred in That's 70s Show and sent very long and elaborate letters asking the judge for clemency. It's quite common in the American system: these letters are written by both sides when the jury convicts a person. On the one hand, they ask the judge for a harsher sentence by providing some sort of additional testimony, and on the other, the convicted person, to ask for leniency in the sentence. The two actors wrote in these letters that Danny is like a mentor to them, an extraordinary and kind person, one of the few people they can trust. Danny's accusations also included the claim that he drugged his victims, but they wrote in the letters that this was absolutely untrue. In fact, it was Danny himself who encouraged them to keep their feet on the ground in Hollywood and stay away from drug abuse.
