Dragon Warrior 7 Overworld Map Progression

Dragon Warrior 7 is such a fascinating game. I love the central idea, that the Demon Lord visited a bunch of tragedies upon the world in the past, slowly making land masses disappear one by one, until there is nothing left but one small island. Then you go back in time and undo all these changes, restoring the lost land. By doing this, the game world gradually gets bigger. I noticed that nobody had documented this progression, so I decided to take a series of screenshots via emulator and put them together in this short slideshow. Enjoy!
