The fifth DKC installment, "Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze," incorporated leftover ideas that couldn't be implemented in Returns due to time constraints or technical limitations. These include the return of water levels and the Kong partners Dixie Kong with her propeller jump and Cranky Kong with his pogo stick, which not only allows you to reach higher places but also effortlessly cross dangerous, spiky passages. Diddy, of course, is still on the team with his jetpack. Exclusively in the Nintendo Switch version, Funky Kong joins the party, combining the abilities of all the Kongs and also being able to withstand multiple hits – the perfect character for casual players.
