Actor Jussie Smollett Takes Stand and Testifies for Several Hours

Former “Empire” star Jussie Smollett said he was attacked by two men who doused him with bleach, put a rope around his neck and hurled racial and homophobic slurs. However, prosecutors and their two star witnesses say that’s not what happened. Two brothers took the stand last week and testified that they were hired by the actor to stage the whole thing.
