Hi everyone! One of my side hustles really came thru this week!! I was worried I was barely going to have enough money for my bills, groceries and gas because of all the moving and getting sick early last week but thanks to my side income I was able to stuff my sinking fund and savings envelopes with their usual amounts and then some 🙏 Today we’re going to be stuffing my second paycheck for November or in this case some real income soup 😂 I don’t think I’ve explained my sources of income too well before but I regularly have two sources of income - a regular part time job and doing grocery deliveries. I usually work 45-50 hours doing a mix of these two since scheduling is completely in my hands. I also have two other sources of income that pay either once a month or every other month or even less - I have a freelance client I do work for when she needs it and I also stream. So if the stars all align I could have up to 4 sources of income at once but I usually only have my main 2 and occasionally 1 of the other side hustle incomes. Talk about inconsistent income huh 😂 I always hope all of you are making similar or even better progress on your financial journeys!! I appreciate all of you so much! 🌿 ✨ freebies ✨ 🌿 https://drive.google.com/drive/u/3/fo... 🌿 items shown 🌿 my "money tray" : https://amzn.to/2JYPQ3m clear cash envelopes: made them for myself laminator to make cash envelopes: https://amzn.to/39SPXZk label maker for envelopes: https://amzn.to/3gmGXN2 paper cutter to make cash envelopes: https://amzn.to/2JLgfSn transparent binders: https://amzn.to/2VNyqJE zipper envelope with glitter: https://amzn.to/34a5m3R butterfly cash envelopes: https://www.etsy.com/listing/77587421... planner charms: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Flowerais cash envelope trackers in my envelopes: my freebie, linked above! My cash envelope stuffing and budgeting videos are simply to share how I personally budget with the cash envelope system and what works best for me! Full Disclosure: I use real money for my variable expense envelopes/weekly spend envelopes but I use prop money as a placeholder/physical learning tool to help me manage my actual digital sinking funds and savings! This gives me the ability to regain that physical relationship with money that I lost from swiping my debit and credit cards too much, all with the convenience of moving money digitally. Not only that, but I get to keep my money in an online account where I earn a bit of interest on top of that :) Once I've improved my relationship with money I will eventually move to only digital tracking. I already owned prop money from video production classes in college where we would create and film sets and have held onto it for board games and crafting purposes. I advise caution if you'd like to use prop money as a learning tool not only because its an additional cost that you may not need, but also because it can be confusing depending on what kind you get. There are some prop bills that look very realistic but do have minor visual differences (although none will ever feel the same) and if someone in your household didn't know or if you have younger children and they got a hold of it, they may unknowingly try to spend it which we don't want. I'd also like to stress that the prop money I own says "for motion picture purposes only" among other differences, and is printed on a semi-gloss type of paper that obviously indicates it's fake so I have no worries about someone in my house finding it and mistaking it or me accidentally confusing it for real money. I do everything I can to make sure it's not mixed up with real money. If you have questions or concerns please leave them in the comments below and I'd be happy to address them!
