Measurement of power and power factor using single phase Wattmeter

Measurement of power and power factor is calculated using single phase Wattmeter by varying Auto transformer to maintain rated voltage and observe the readings of Voltmeter , Ammeter and Wattmeter for different values of Inductance and a fixed resistance of 100 ohms .Then the power factor value is calculated with the ratio of Wattmeter and V*I .
