Powerful Western System Alert! Heavy Rain & Snow to Hit Pakistan | Big Weather Update

Today’s video brings a major weather update and a big good news for Pakistan. After weeks of dry cold, smog, fog, and dusty weather, a powerful Western weather system is finally moving toward Pakistan. According to the latest weather models, this strong system will affect the country from 18 to 23 December, bringing rain, snowfall, thunderstorms, and a severe cold wave. 🌧 Punjab: Light to moderate rain expected in Lahore, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Chakwal, Rawalpindi and Murree. Southern Punjab (Multan, DG Khan, Khanewal, Vehari) may receive patchy light rain. A strong cold wave will grip Punjab after 23 December with temperature dropping to 3–6°C. 🌧⛄ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Abbottabad, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Batgram, Naran, Kaghan and Kohistan will receive good rain and moderate to heavy snowfall in upper areas. Temperature may fall by 4–8°C. ⛄❄ Balochistan: Quetta, Ziarat, Zhob, Chaman, Pishin and northern Balochistan may see significant snowfall. Quetta can drop to –5 to –10°C. 🌥 Sindh: Mostly dry, but upper Sindh (Larkana, Dadu, Jacobabad) may get light rain. Karachi likely to stay cloudy with cool winds from 20–23 December. ❄ Kashmir & Gilgit-Baltistan: This system will be strongest here. Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Hunza, Skardu, Astore, Shigar and Ghizer may see heavy snowfall. Temperatures may fall to –10 to –15°C. This is a long-range forecast, so minor changes in dates are possible, but all major models agree that a powerful Western system is approaching Pakistan.
