Taking a close look at Cristiano Ronaldo's recent Interview with the Sun columnist Piers Morgan, he went all in and told everyone what he is actually going through and feeling about his current club, Manchester United. Ever since Ronaldo joined Manchester United in August 2021, he hasn't been at his best due to some misunderstandings between he the player and the clubs executives. He told piers Morgan clearly that he's tired of being painted as the black sheep, literally and he basically doesn't respect his current boss,Erick Ten Hag.“I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.” Ronaldo said in his interview with piers Morgan. It's quite obvious that aside Ole, Ralf and Ten Hag actually didn't like the presence of Ronaldo in the current squad because it's quite heart breaking to see how Ten Hag actually drops Ronaldo in most matches. Ronaldo also told piers Morgan that Manchester United haven't done enough as he wishes man United were in the shoes of some top premier league clubs such as Liverpool fc, Manchester city and Arsenal.“I want the best for the club. This is why I come to Manchester United. “But you have some things inside that don’t help (us) reach the top level as City, Liverpool and even now Arsenal . . . a club with this dimension should be top of the tree in my opinion and they are not unfortunately.” He went on and addressed some personal issues with his former team mate, Wayne Rooney on why he thinks he is just jealous of him. “I don’t know why he criticises me so badly,probably because he finished his career and I’m still playing at high level.” Lost his son, got rejected by some top football clubs and having one of his worst season starts should tell us 2022 has been a good year in the life of Cristiano Ronaldo.
