Part 3 - Visit Camp Margaritaville RV Resort & Lodge in Pigeon Forge at Halloween! In part 3 of “It’s Fall in The Smokies Y’all” we showcase the lively atmosphere of the RV park, showcasing Halloween decorations and the festive spirit of fellow RVers. This RV Resort is located at the foothills and next door to the entrance to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park! Fall is in full swing in October! The best time to visit the Smoky Mountains in the fall is mid to late October. You will find beautiful fall foliage and the Festive sprit at Dollywood and Camp Margaritaville Pigeon Forge during this season! The temperature is just right neither Hot nor Cold it’s just right in-between. Camp Margaritaville hosted Trick-or-Treating from registered RVers to hand out candy and prizes to fellow RVer’s children! This event is held the last weekend before Halloween if Halloween does not fall on the weekend itself. Children and some adults dress in full Halloween costumes and parade around the campground trick or treating at registered RV’s. We also registered our RV site to compete for best Halloween decorated campsite which became a challenge with some heavy contenders. If you want to do this, be prepared for some competition! In this episode we also visit Dollywood for The Great Pumpkin LumiNights. There are somewhere likr 20,,000 pumpkins some real and some fake. You can find 1,000 pound real pumpkins on display. We tour Dollywood in the latter park of this video. We start this episode with trick or treating at Camp Margaritaville!
