How to Install an Interior Cabin Filter - 2007 - 2017 Jeep - Needs to be Changed More Often

#MundaneMan shows you how to replace the interior cabin filter in a #Jeep Patriot however this process is similar for many makes and models of vehicles. I am using a #Fram Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter (not a sponsor!) and completed the job in under 10 minutes! It is an easy process for this often overlooked and forgotten maintenance item. Check your owners manual or do a Google search to see if your specific vehicle has a cabin filter and where it is located. In my Jeep Patriot and many other vehicles it is located behind the glove box. Some vehicles have them and others don't so you need to be familiar with your specific model of vehicle. It is important to replace this filter every 2 to 3 years to keep your heating and cooling system operating efficiently and to help remove contaminants from the air as it enters your vehicle. A plugged filter can limit air flow which will degrade the interior heating and cooling of your car. A new filter will help with removing dust, pollen and mold from your car keeping those allergies away.
