July 25 2020 Norma M20FC Chasing Caterham/Lola SP300R At The Firm w/ Pro Driver James French Leading

It was a scorcher.... 100+ degrees! At least I had the cool shirt on. This is a session during a private track rental at the FIRM in Starke, Florida. Earlier in the day we broke in a fresh motor on the Caterham/Lola SP300R. We had changed the oil and were ready to go all out and see how the car responded. Unfortunately, I was getting a bit complacent and not charging as hard. In some places, I was trying to press my advantage over the Lola/Caterham. I had quicker laps earlier in the day with the track to myself, but we had a great time and I learned a lot. A big shoutout to James French and thanks for his kind tutelage.
