It’s always been our go-to for fun, friendly competition. Whether you're playing solo, teaming up with a friend, or racing with a whole group at a party, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe offers endless entertainment. In our family, we usually go for six races at a time, paired up and ready to compete! The game offers a huge variety of modes—Solo, Duo, Grand Prix, Time Trials, Versus, Battle Mode, and more. On top of that, there are 42 characters to choose from and fully customizable vehicles. With characters, karts, wheels, and gliders combined, there are 8,064 unique setups! Honestly, that can feel a bit overwhelming—so we simplify things by all choosing Donkey Kong and using the same kart setup to keep it fair (and funny!). You can even customise items, turning some off, some on, and even some just for certain people :D Of course, Kira being a child, sometimes we give her a little boost—normal items for everyone else, and she gets all the Bullet Bills she needs to lead the charge! From quick 10-minute games to all-out Mario Kart marathons, this game never gets old. It’s a 5 out of 5 from us—perfect for solo players, families, or big party groups. Like LEGO, it’s for ages 3 to 120!
