He joins Ava, They Mate, and He heads back out. 5:57 pm - Ava organizing the Pantry. 5:53 - 5:51 pm - Ava Takes a little time to Position the Mouse to eat it. Then starts eating. 5:50 pm - Ava Regurgitates a Pellet (The undigestible parts of prey like hair and bones gets combined into a pellet and is then Regurgitated.) she then picks up the Rodent just delivered by Beau. 5:46 pm - Beau brings a Rodent for Ava in his Beak. He gives it to her, and she holds it in her Beak while They Mate. 5:42 pm - Ava getting ready for Beau to deliver dinner 5:39 pm - Ava does Leg stretching carefully puting weight on her Injured leg. 5:20 pm - Beau is Back on time. They Mate. 4:39 - 3:19 pm - Ava Is Back at cleaning the house. 1:49 pm - Ava Resting after working around the house all day. 1:28 - 12:29 pm - Ava is tidying up and breaking down the Regurgitated pellets into flooring. 12/29/23 (am hours) : 10:34 am - After Tidying, pacing and owning for a while Ava gets in her preferred reclining position. 9:33 am - Ava Likely to spend another afternoon in the House. 5:42 - 5:35 am - Ava does a lot of Tidying, which is last of the nesting ritual. This may be a sign eggs are coming. 5:31 am - Though we know Ava can swallow smaller prey whole, it seems she prefers to shred and eat. 5:27 am - Ava picks up a mouse she had stored. 5:09 am - Beau is Back. No Food Delivery. They do mate and he returns to Guarding the Door. 3:42 am - Ava Remains in the House Alternating between Preening, Resting and looking outside for Beau 2:14 am - Beau Leaves. Ava Remains at the Back of the House. 12:44 am - Beau is Back. We have also had a few visits from screech Owls. Currently the box is primarily occupied by barn Owls Ava and Beau.
