Try! This is all new for many, so create a schedule/lesson to try and just go for it, but urge feedback (parents, students, and other educators). Then adjust each week. 2. Don’t fall for the “Jack of all trades, master of none” midset. You can’t expect to be perfect at everything all at once, so choose one thing you really want to get right. 3. Balance is key. Take time for breaks to build in physical activity and a healthy mindset, for you and your kids. 4. Focus learning. Choose one thing you want your kids to take away from your lesson. Doing too much becomes confusing. 5. Communication is key! Establishing platforms and spaces to communicate is essential. Since you are no longer able to chat casually in-person, you need to make time and space for ongoing learning and collaborating with your education community.
