19 ways to Matchless Fire Starting

As motivation to get outside and practice your outdoors skills, I challenged my Boy Scout Crew to a series of quarantine challenges. This is the third challenge... matchless fire starting. I took it a bit further as I wondered how could I challenge myself beyond the norm... I came up with 19 different ways to start a matchless fire, and three more that I could not do because my order from Amazon had not yet arrived with the "rope lighter," the "fire piston" compression igniter, and the potassium permanganate and glycerin chemical fire. All in all, it was quite a challenge, a lot of hard work, and many hours putting it all together. I hope this inspires the youth to take on these challenges and hone their outdoor skills.
