So what is it? If you use the Electronic Prescription Service, you can nominate a pharmacy, contractor, or GP to start receiving your prescriptions for you. This means that you won’t have to collect a paper version from your GP any more. You can also pick up your prescription from the most convenient place, like somewhere closer to where you live or work. You should consider the Electronic Prescription Service if you receive regular prescriptions, if you use a prescription collection service, and if you usually collect your prescriptions from the same place. Don’t worry: • Using the Electronic Prescription Service doesn’t mean you’ll see your GP any less • You won’t have to use a computer • And you can change or cancel your nomination at any time Any Coop Pharmacy can receive your prescriptions, and if you set your prescription filler to our hub, we can post your medication or appliances sent discretely to an address of your choice.
